At 97 years young at heart, Beedee Hein wrote her memoirs, He's Been Here: A Heinsight View of Christmas and More. It is a reflection of family love, traditions and Christmas magic throughout her life. With warmth and humor, she retells some of her favorite stories of raising 5 children with her husband, John, in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio in the 1950s through early 1990s.While Beedee was primarily a homemaker during those years, she honed her leadership skills as an active volunteer in the local school district and community. A true extrovert, she used her sales savvy to sell Christmas cards, promote her party planning and food demonstrations talks, and work with John as his "pitch lady" at trade shows. When John passed, she took over his promotional advertising product line and kept selling until she retired at the age of 90.As a homemaker, Beedee expressed her creative streak through her children's Halloween costumes, school projects as a room mother, and volunteer work. At the age of 40, she began painting wooden items that she sold at trade and craft shows. And, now she has added author to her list of accomplishments.In addition to family, Beedee and John enjoyed gathering with friends.
